From 26 February till 2 March of 2020 Togliatti will host the IKA Snow Kite World Cup Russia 2020. The Word Cup will be accompanied by the Zhiguli Sea Winter Festival of outdoor activities.
Every year more than 250 participants come to the city of Togliatti and this is the third year in a row this city hosts events of international scale. This season sportsmen and visitors will witness exciting starts and finishes of racers in a course-racing discipline and incredible jumps and tricks of sportsmen in a freestyle discipline.
In the framework of the event there will be held a legendary long-distance marathon – a real sport trial for true experts of competitive disciplines, who are ready to test their own limits.
Zhiguli Sea Festival is for everybody. Not only professionals but also amateurs and children can participate in each discipline. A special route will be prepared for children, which will ensure safe competitions.
Traditionally, the event is organized by the SNOWKITERUSSIA team, which has been hosting grand sport and leisure events in the sphere of winter sailing sports for many years. That’s why the event can guarantee the maximum action not only for sportsmen but for its visitors as well. The guests of the festival will be able to take part in entertainment program with various contests and winter activities prepared by the festival partners.
It is worth noting that the IKA World Cup will come to Togliatti for the second time and will become a venue for the best sportsmen from all over the world. In 2019 the organizing committee held a high-level event and managed to meet all the expectations both of International Kiteboarding Association and participants of the competition.
